Find Beauty in Everyday Life

Some people’s challenge comes inform of finding positivity in their daily activities; this has a lot to do with perception mentally. Seeking beauty in the simple things when you find yourself feeling down and negative was recommended by Nancy Bouwens who is a life coach and blogger.

What really makes you happy? Maybe you have a faithful companion such as a cat or dog who’s always by your side. You might enjoy indulging in some tiramisu or lighting your favorite candle scent. Appreciate the leaves changing in the fall or the scent of your favorite meal cooking in the oven. Look for simple ways to be happy.

Cultivate a Positive Environment

When it comes to the issue of a relationship breakup, you would agree it is quite difficult to survive through it and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel becomes more and more difficult. This is one of the major reasons you are supposed to create an atmosphere of positivity around you. Abstain from people with sad and bad energy as they can tend to drag you down both physically and emotionally and complain. Keep people that give you a sense of positivity in life. Hang out with friends who bring your spirits up, learning to live in gratitude or using mindfulness during difficult times.

Develop a Mantra

Facing some bad news? An uncertain diagnosis? These things can bring bouts of negativity and despair. Try switching your train of thought by focusing on a positive mantra. Using positive language and words can invoke good vibes and make you feel happier. Start with your favorite authors. Read their books and poetry. Then take a highlighter and concentrate on your favorite words of encouragement. This can help you regain focus as you wade through darker days.

Surround Yourself with Positive People

It is true that “Birds of a feather flock together”. This is why you should stay around people that can encourage you during a difficult time like after losing your job. You are not expected to associate with people who do not have your best interest at heart at this period because their behavior can influence you to take harmful actions and steps. Stay around go-getters whose intentions are to see you firmly back to your feet.

Give Back

Tough times are certain. It is how you get through them that determine how quickly you’ll recover. One way to get by is to give back. You may have lost your home or suffered a major life blow, but don’t let that drag your heart and psyche through the ringer. Volunteer and give your time to a good cause. You’d be surprised how wonderful it will make you feel when you make an impact on someone else’s life.

It can be challenging when you are going through tough times in life. Your reaction to these kinds of situations determines what the outcome would be eventually. What you need to do is to focus on your goals and be positive minded even when your world feels like it is crumbling. With positive support and right attitude, you can get through any life challenges regardless of how hard it might be.

  1. Thank you. I was diagnosed with a mental disorder 27 years ago and recently found out vitimans and minerals could have helped as I had a eatting disorder. The medicine made me absolutely crazy. I lost my husband and son because of my diagnoses. I’ve got no savings nor experience and feel like at 55 I’m to old to return to the work force or go back to school. Very down. Thank you though for your encouraging email, really feel like if it weren’t for my son and the Lord would have ended life a long time ago. I saw a sign in someone’s yard yesterday. It said don’t give up. Wow that too helped. Thanks for this email. Tammy

    1. Me, too lost my husband. He left our home one day in 2008. We had just open a new business put a lot of my savings into that business and one very hot summer day he went down with the massive heart attack. EMS got lost, he was without oxygen for over 20 minutes, his brain suffered severe damage. Long story short. I helped took care of him in a nursing home for 3 1/2 years. The losses I suffered can’t be measured by man. BUT, God has seen me through it all. I surrounded myself with Christian people, Christian stations, Christian programs and today I can say I’m so much stronger in my faith. Keep the faith God is a provider (Jehovah Jireh) no one provides like he does.

  4. Why done we establish an online community where we can ONLY share our daily life positive experiences and uplifting stories during the day, at the end of the day or even posting our daily positive experiences or uplifting stories during the next day. Honestly, we all need help, and staying positive definitely does matters. Just my one cent suggestion.
